Bioshock Infinite Performance

Bioshock Infinite appears to run worse on my MacBook Pro than I expected it to. NoteBookCheck, for example, says it should average 48 FPS on high details at 1366x768 resolution (650M). On my MBP with the Geforce GT 650M (512MB), high details causes so much stuttering to the point of being way too unenjoyable at 1366-by-768 or 1440-by-900 pixels (native resolution); it's much smoother on medium details and still lags here and there. Running the Mac Steam version of the game. Presumably the Windows version runs better (normally the case, no?). How does it run for you?

I'm running 10.9.3 (also lagged on 10.9.2 - no difference). I'm curious if it's just a lack of VRAM or if the 650M on the Mac side just can't power it at high details regardless of VRAM. Or if something is wrong with the MBP.

You will have a huge performance improvement if you run it on bootcamp. I tried and recommend running almost everything on bootcamp if you are after high settings.

1920x1080, medium, no AA
Good performance under 10.9 (+ there were some updates)
Initial performance under 10.8 was worse (1680x1050, low-med)
