Mac Mini 2012 RAM in 2009 MacBook?

My old 13" Unibody MacBook (not the Pro, the super special Limited Edition

) has finally ended up with one of my mates. I'm just wondering if the standard 2x2GB RAM I pulled out of my 2012 Mini would work, albeit at reduced speeds, or is it too far out of spec?

I have no use for the RAM as I've upgraded to 16GB in the Mini, I thought it'd make a nice random gift, as long as it works....
