Is the iPhone Qi compatible?

I noticed this article and, although it shows an iPhone in the photo, it doesn't mention Apple.

It seems normal for Apple to opt-out of these industry standards (DLNA for example), so I'm assuming the photo was used in error?

Nope, currently no iphone model supports wireless charging.
There is adapters and cases with such addons though I believe.
