[iPhone] IOS download doesnt save as ispw file THIS IS FOR A JAILBREAK

Hi everyone. If anyone could helpo me it would be greatly appriciated
My iPhone 3gs which I recently bought off someone is locked on to O2.
My problem is I'm on vodaphone and my contract runs for a good few more months. I mean, I would be graet if I could use my iPhone you see and as its takes too long and too much effort to wit for O2 to unlock my phone for me, I'd rather just jail braek it. I have downloaded sn0wbreeze ect ect and then tried to download ios 6.0.1 software.

however: problem
this file is not saving as an ispw and this means /I cannot start to jail break

so the question is, can any of you help!!!!!

Use redsn0w instead of sn0wbreeze

You are aware that jailbreaking and unlocking are not the same thing and depending on firmware and baseband your phone might be unlockable or not.
