Turn off notifications?

How do I turn off all notifications without having to manually disable one by one? I don't see that option anymore. Using an iPad 4 running iOS 6.0.1. Thanks!

If it's just the sound you want to turn off, you can enable 'Do Not Disturb'. If it's the actual notifications you want off, those will need to be turned off one by one.

Is there a way of temporarily stopping notifications altogether, rather than just the sounds?

I was just about to win a hard fought race on Real Racing 3, when a load of notifications came in, the game stuttered at a vital moment, and I had a big crash. 🙄
