I recently decided to uninstall springtomize 2 to save battery life and one of the main things I loved/miss from that tweak was the ability to hide badge icons for individual apps. I know that you can turn some off in the notification settings but not all of them. My question is there any other tweak that allows for this? Thanks!

Why Don't you keep Springtomize 2 if you have battery problems, and get BattSaver from BigBoss?

Works like a charm !! After a long day of work, I usually get home with 40-50% of battery.
