Portrait for web and mail, other apps in landscape. Depend on the actual app.

Portrait please.
![]() And to think, I was so upset with the lack of landscape texting in the original iPhone... I NEVER text in landscape.

Landscape for web browsing, watching videos, and playing games
Portrait for emails, Facebook, Twitter, photos, and e-reading. If I had to pick one, though -- I'd say I use landscape a lot more than I do portrait.

prefer them equally.
Find myself using the landscape more because of games. |

Portrait only, I actually switched off autorotate. Except for games, but they switch to landscape on their own anyway.

A lot of apps are meant for landscape mode, it feels more like an iPad when I hold it sideways instead of in portrait mode. If I don't it just feels like an enlarged iPhone lol.

Portrait for web browsing. Landscape for video. Games depends on which one and the controls etc.

Landscape, almost exclusively. It's the full sized keyboard. I can't touch type on the keyboard in portrait orientation, whereas I can in landscape. I've never been a fan if thumb typing.
I also prefer reading in landscape. I like the look of an open book with two pages facing me. |

Depends on the app.
Landscape for web surfing, movies, and some games. Portrait for everything else. |

Landscape for everything. One reason is that the fonts are larger and thus easier to read.

Portait for 9.7" iPad, and landscape only for iPad mini.

This depends on the iPad. Portrait browsing on the iPad 2 is nicer than portrait browsing on the Mini due to the type being very small on he latter.

Portrait. Split the keyboard in two and move it up an inch or two and it's great for two-thumb typing.
