Macbook to Tv problem
I received a minidisplay port to HDMI cable today for Xmas. It supports audio as well. Here is the exact cord link:
http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...mat=4#feedback I have a mid 2010 macbook, so I know that I am able to play sound out of it. The tv I have is an LG 32LH40. It is a relatively new TV, about 3-4 years old. Now, when I go to my sound settings, I am able to select my TV as the output. It says "The selected device has no output controls." I have no clue what the means. But, I select the TV as the output, but I sitll do not hear the volume coming out of the tv. The tv is not muted, and I have tried it with the volume up high...nothing. Im lost, any help?
