As of now there is an App in the Apple App Store listed as what's hot. How can that be? There are five reviews. Only two are written and give one star, as they cannot get it to stop crashing. There is an unwritten 1 star. That's three of five 1 star. Then there are two unwritten 5 star ratings. No name or ID. No words to explain. The developers' next door neighbors or best friend could have written them. No way to check. How does this rate What's Hot? This is not a rating system. This benefits the developer not the buyer. Not right.
Now why are there not, no star (ie zero points) ratings possible? As it is, it would take 15 one star ratings to get the over-all rating below 1 and a half stars, if just the author's girlfriend and mother anonymously each gave a 5 star rating. There maybe a better mathematical model, but a WHAT'S HOT rating is not fair to us buyers.
