Converted iPhoto library to referenced pictures. It's still huge.
Hello everybody,
I used Aperture to move all my pictures in an older iPhoto library to a folder on my HDD as referenced images. The library shrunk from about 80 GB to about 35 GB. What can I do to make it smaller? 35 GB seems awfully big to me for just previews and edits of my pictures. thanks smellalot

What format were your originals in? If they were JPEGs, then previews could be almost as large as the originals.
It could be worth deleting and recreating the previews to see if that shrinks the library. Also try updating the Thumbnails.
