iPhone 5 Setup Question

Hello,

I will be picking up my iPhone 5 on Saturday (before leaving for a 4+ hour road trip). Now, will it be possible to set it up without wifi or will there be a 4 hour void filled with no possible cell phone usage? I am probably going to sleep in the car honestly, but I am just curious as to whether or not the phone will be functional through the trip and what the limitations would be (if any).

i think it can use the cell network to activate, no need to have it on wifi.

First of all, congrats on getting your iPhone 5 on Saturday!! I got mine about two months ago and I am truly impressed with it. Yes you will still be able to activate over cell network.
