The reason why I'm asking this, is because I was looking for a VPN to access US netflix and I found one in the Appstore called "VPN ONE CLICK", which is free for the first week but is it safe? I mean I've heard many proxies are just scams to steal your information. Can I rely that this app is safe because is in the appstore?

For VPN services I would rely on established services available on Internet. On the other side if the vendor of the app you mentioned has some other stuff around and has a history, why not.

For your own security you can of course isolate the app a bit more and prevent access to contacts, images etc. other data you never know ...

Apple can't check for all possible back doors ...
