I made a thread earlier about this recorder that I have on my iPhone that I don't want to lose the recordings with, which was asking if, by transferring it over, would the recordings come with?

Nobody had an answers, but now I'm back with a whole new question:

Does "Tranferring purchases" from my iPhone remove the Apps from my iPhone? Extract them? Or does it just duplicate the information to my computer and authorize it or something like that?

Not sure how it works.. I just don't want to click on it and have all my Apps take off of my iPhone, mostly because I'm scared that if the recorder is removed, it won't bring the recordings along with them.

(By the way, my main reason for this is because I want to transfer everything to my new iPhone 5, but apparently my 4S isn't sync'd with my computer.)

Thanks!

It just copies everything over to your computer.

So it only copies? Doesn't extract?
I'll still have all the Apps on my 4S?

Sorry to seem hollow headed, just very cautious as to not lose these irreplaceable files.

It all worked! And the recordings transferred with it!
What a great day.

Thank you for the rescue!
