Hello,

I have an iPod 4G and an iPad mini I would like to connect them using Bluetooth. However, How do I make them Discoverable?

I go to settings on both devices and switch on Bluetooth. And all I get is searching. So the devices cannot find each other.

I'd like to share files and music we each device. Is this possible with iOS 6 using Bluetooth?

I'm not really interested in using any apps just using native Bluetooth.

Many thanks for any suggestions,

IPad without apps would be like a Windows PC without apps, near useless.

They cant find each other because neither one has one of these functions enabled for the other one to connect to and use:

Hands-Free Profile (HFP 1.6) Phone Book Access Profile (PBAP)Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP)Audio/Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP 1.4)Personal Area Network Profile (PAN), Human Interface Device Profile (HID), Message Access Profile (MAP)

PhotoSync will let you send photos and video via bluetooth.

Dunno, about music, google it.

Hello,

Is there any free apps that can do this? Which one would you recommend to be the best one between different iOS devices.

Thanks,

Edit: never mind, bump uses wifi, not blue tooth, sorry
I got the app supershare months ago when it was free, working well but now it's not free.

update: you're lucky, the app supershare is currently free today https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/supershare/id427543706?mt=8
