Hi,

I accidentally dropped my iPad mini two feet onto a wood floor and the screen cracked. The ipad landed on the bottom corner where the smartcover does not absorb damage.

I've had the original ipad with original case and dropped it probably half a dozen times without problems since Sep 2010. I've also dropped my iphone 4s dozens of times with case and (knock on wood) no problems.

I have the Powerskin case for my iphone and that has soft rubber that absorbs impact very well.

Is there a good case out there that isn't hard plastic similar to the powerskin?

I see the Amzer soft case(link) below but I don't think it has the front cover like the Poetic SLIMLINE Portfolio Case(hard plastic) and it has no reviews.
