Organising Itunes Library

Is there anyway I can organise my itunes media folder so my movies are in one location (external hardrive) and my music is in another (my macbook hardrive) and still have it automatically copy there?

It is possible to have iTunes add movies from an external drive but I don't know how to make it automatic. The way I do it is I keep all movies on an external drive and hold the ALT key down as I drag them to the movies section in iTunes. It adds them to the library with the path of the external hard drive rather than copying it to its own media folder.
