Video capture software

Hi all,

I plan to set up a YouTube channel to record me on webcam playing simple flash-based games (both video and audio). I have looked at the software but it is expensive and not a lot are available for Mac OSX. However, I came across Ripcorder Video (8.99) on the App Store. Has anyone here got it and how effective is it at recording video from the web?

Thanks

You could try QuickTime X and its screen recording feature first before buying something.

Does Quicktime X record sound off a headset? Can you sync both audio and video?

I never tried it, but as you can see from the linked guide, you can select an audio input.
