Apple 20" Cinema Display...

There were two "old school" 20" Displays. Which one are you talking about? The acrylic one I don't think works with new Macs, even with the adapter. The Aluminum one is just DVI, so get yourself an adapter if that's what you have and do your own research on the '12 Mini display ports.
