Pair iPhone 5 with 2006 BMW 325 iDrive
Has anyone paired their iPhone 5 with the 2006 BMW 325 on iDrive without issues? I paired my iPhone 3GS on my 06 325 without issue and shortly after doing so I got an SOS warning light. Took it to the dealer and had to have the module replaced. I don't know if the two were related or if it was just a coincidence but I am out of warranty now and that repair would have cost me $4000 out of pocket had I not been under warranty at the time.
I miss my hands free in the car but am afraid to risk frying another control module. |

May not be helpful, but my 05' m3 is issue free. No Idrive however.
