I have noticed since installing the iOS 6.0.2 update my battery life has decreased quite a bit. Has anyone else had this issue?

Yes, I had that problem. I did a Restore on the phone, and the problem went away. As a side benefit, I was finally able to sync via WiFi, which had never worked before. It's a bit of a pain (make sure you do a backup to disk) but was well worth it.

6.0.2 is killing my battery rapidly!!! Thnk goodness I have an external battery because the rate at which it depletes is ridiculous. I'm hoping for a software update sooner rather than later.

After a reset it started to get better battery life then went south. I go to bed with about 50% left and is dead in the morning.

Did you charge it in between days? That's incredible.

Ya that's BS in my opinion. Unless he's been using it in airplane mode or something.

iOS6 recent updates just for iPhones?

I just have ipad3 and no iPhone... Since installing iOS6, I haven't seen any need to install the .0.1 or .0.2 updates... They appear to be mainly, if not solely, for the benefit of iPhone... Or...am I missing something?

Glad my replacement iPhone 5 came with iOS 6.0! I'm at 25% with 4 hrs 30 mins of usage and 1 day 3 hrs of standby.

All this with screen brightness at 50%, Bluetooth off and location services - system services Off.

For one thing, try turning your Brightness Down, I have my Brightness set at -100% and I get Excellent Battery Life with IOS 6.0.2 on both my Apple IPhone 5, and my Apple IPad Mini.
