Help with apple TV to hook up to regular TV
I just bought my daughter an apple TV for Christmas. The problem is her TV has only a VGA port not an HDMI one. It is a flat screen but older model. Can I buy a HDMI to VGA cable that will work with this? or do I need to get a converter box and hook up two cables. One for the apple tv and the other for the regular tv.

I believe the only way you're going to get video and audio to the TV is by using this.
http://store.apple.com/us/product/H9...-audio-support This is under the assumption your audio is also being converted. |

The model I have been using for about 2 years isn't available on amazon anymore but here is one just like it.
http://www.amazon.com/Sabrent-Compos...er+3RCA+CRT+TV Search for composite to HDMI converters for others. I use it on the main TV in the house due to the location of the TV. It is on everyday at least a few hours a day.
