iTunes streaming movies to iPad
Just haven't been able to figure this out:
My wife has an iPad 2. I have a MBP and iTunes with Homesharing enabled. We have our mp4 movies stored on an HDD connected to an AEBS. So can you stream music and movies to the iPad? Sort of like they can be streamed to the aTV?

Apple doesn't do this.
But other developers provide a way; check out Air Video for example. http://www.inmethod.com |

Yes this is possible. You must use iTunes to manage the movies on the HDD and have home sharing enabled. Then on the ipad go to Videos app, touch the shared tab and then your MacBook Pro computer name then you should see a list of all movies managed by iTunes in your MBP. No other software is necessary.
