Joining FLV videos

Hi folks. I have a series of videos which were on YouTube, which I'd like to join end to end. I downloaded them and I have them in my hard drive now in FLV format. Does anyone know how I can join them? What app with? Free, preferably. I'd be even happier if it converted the format to something more generic like MP4... but that's of secondary concern.

MPEG Streamclip will convert .flv files to most other formats (.avi or .mov).

You can then join the videos with Quicktime, or with iMovie.
