Testing the frame rate wow on my new iMac Late 2012

27 inch iMac
Intel Quad Core i7 - 3.4 Ghz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2GB
8GB DDR3 Memory
1TB Fusion Drive

As another commenter suggested, I am in the process of making another video with fan noise and temperatures within the next 24hrs.

Mind doing an XBench as well on your Fusion drive?
Just test the drive when you run it, want to see how it competes to my C300 SSD.

Thanks

I've attached the results; not sure how to do the test in the fusion drive specifically though.

Wow, I have to run mine at much much lower settings in order to get decent frame rates, I dont have the I7 just the i5 but I cant imagine that it's that big of a drop in perf. I too have the 680MX gpu.

Does the i7 proc do big difference like this,, in all blogs i never saw that the i7 will give even a little improvement over the i5. are you sure your settings are correct? may be memory or fusion drive can do a difference?

That score is even a little better than my SSD :), all I wanted to see.
Ordered my iMac with the same specs a few weeks ago but still waiting.

Thanks

PS: I will be adding 32GB myself but dont think it will increase the Gfx performance.
