Minilyrics in parallels playing music from iTunes application

I want to run minilyrics running in main mac while the Mac iTunes is playing but for that I would need to get minilyrics to point to my mac iTunes application but its impossible due to the iTunes stored on a network map drive in Parallels 8 (trail version expires in two days). Anyone tried a workaround this? I also have fusion and virtualbox still trying to find which one is best. There are pro and cons of each one. Decisions decisions
