Does USB Camera adapter transmit Digital Audio (to ext DAC)
Can you use the Lightning USB adapter below to connect to an outboard DAC?
In other words, does iPhone 5 transmit digital audio data through this adapter? This is what I plan to do: iPhone 5> USB Adapter> USB cable > DAC input

No what I heard the 30 pin adapter decodes digital and converts into analogue signal. I want a pure digital signal out of my iphone 5
