lol. Hey, who knows. Maybe Apple will say "Eh, screw it, lets knock this Thailand guy out of the way right quick, there's only one going there...", build, and ship it sooner. I wonder where the most iMac's are being purchased from? Probably the US.

3 TB fusion, it's amazingly fast, I've started using it for all Premiere Pro files- backed up of course. Speeds of 300+ typically. No I've not tested the screen, but it's brilliant!. I sit opposite a window (with a blind) the old Mac was difficult, there is some reflection on this one, but really I don't notice it. One month in, I'm still amazed by my new toy!

From yesterday to today, I lose the button to cancel my order. I presume it's baked and nearly ready to come out of the oven.

Mine should arrive on Wednesday- curiously it's coming from Birmingham in the UK via Brussells and then to Singapore. Perhaps its a US build?

..and it's in Shanghai now. Yeah very odd, must be a US build. Doesn't make sense if not.

It's not givnig me an ETA anymore. Latest DHL says "Clearance delay - Pvg - PVG"....
Anyway, I was thinking about it, and I think that the Trackpad probably was what was shipped from the UK, then the iMac was picked up in Shanghai, and now it's just waiting to get to Singapore. The last imac I bought (about 8/9 years ago) had a similar thing...I think it went all around th world just because I ordered a mouse and another peripheral with it...odd. Anyway I expect it'll arrive on Thursday now. The mac I ordered was 27inch 1tb fusion, 680mx, 8gb ram BTO with a trackpad. |
