Best Desks for iMac - Where to Buy?

Hello all,

I am looking for a new desk, and have come across so many good designs, the problem is I cannot find where to buy any of them.

Examples Below

Anyone know where you can buy desks like these?

They all seem like concepts to me, especially the first one, a CD/DVD drive integrated in the desk???

...and although the bottom one "looks" cool, that pillar is right where your knees go....ok if you're a double amputee I guess

But only if you really can afford since it costs somewhere between 4000€-9000€ depending on the configuration with the aluminium/glass combination at 7600€.

I did, I had a look but I don't think I could pay more that the iMac is worth on a desk, that just doesn't make sense.

I have this desk, it's from the IKEA. Costs around 150euro in Holland.

I think it looks awesome combined with the stand of the iMac and the Raindesign M-stand.

It may not be the classiest item around, but my favorite remains a basic 30x72" "conference table" with folding legs, which can be found at most office-supply stores for -very- reasonable prices....

If you want something out of your price range, here is what worked for me...

1. Scout out your favorite desks.
2. Download Craigslist Pro on your iPhone and create keyword notifications, use a 100 mile radius.
3. Wait, don't settle.
4. When the desk of your dreams comes up, pounce.

I ended up with the desk of my dreams. It retailed for $1500, I bought it for $500. An iMac looks incredible on it.

I have a desk with a smoked glass top, and it's very functional and looks cool with my iMac on it! I can post a picture later.

I like that desk that Walden uses on the TV show "Two and a Half Men" to hold his iMac. I looks like a section of wing from a WW-II fighter plane, bent to form the table and shelves added.

I'm looking for a "U-shaped" desk, something like this:

But not for $4k... I keep watching craigslist and no joy. Definitely want to have my iMac, my PC gaming rig, and some other boxes surrounding me in a half circle!

I bought OneLessDesk by Heckler Design. Very happy with the quality and simplicity of the desk. I saw the desk you posted as well, but they are all concept desks or costs thousands of dollars.
