Hi

I'm not using terminal a lot but sometimes i need to copy an image file to my SD card with dd and i would like to know the progress..

I saw some people on the internet using the kill command to show it but I think it's not a good way.

is there any way you can think of that I don't know ?
I don't have so much knowledge in terminal..

Thanks

You could try monitoring disk writes in Activity Monitor. For example, writing 4GB using dd should equal 4GB in the Disk Activity tab.
