MBA return question

I received a MBA 2012 as a gift two days ago. The MBA came with 4 gigs of RAM, but i want to get the 8 gig RAM option. Can i exchange my current MBA and pay the $100 difference in the Apple store?

You may be able to return or exchange it for store credit if you have the receipt (if it is within the 14 day return period). You may only order the 8GB RAM model online as it is a BTO (build to order). The stores do not stock 8GB (RAM) models of the MBA.

Thanks for the info. I will try to return it today for store credit and order the 8 gig version. I do have the receipt.

Everything worked out. I ended upgrading to the i7 as well.
