Good morning everyone,

I currently have a MacBook Pro with a Windows 7 partition, but my memory is getting used up in both partitions so I'm upgrading it into a 1 TB Hard Disk. The issue is, I'll have to re-partition Windows right? Well, I left the Windows 7 CD in another country, and the only thing I can do is call my family member to ask for the serial number, but I don't have access to the actual CD itself, unless I wait until someone comes here and takes it with them. Is there a workaround for this, such as installing Windows unactivated for free so that I can then enter my serial code? Or anything else I can do?

Secondly, will the serial code be unvalid because it's already be used? After all I'm just reinstalling it, but I don't know if it'll work again. I really don't want to purchase Windows a second time (and I don't wish to get Windows 8 either). Any ideas are much appreciated.

Thank you.
