No New iPads In March?

To those that don't think new iPads are coming out in March, what release schedule makes sense for Apple? People think Apple will go all-out in fall as their new release cycle so I made a timeline based on their assumptions for 2013 (releases) which to me doesn't seem to likely.

(If Apple followed 2012 1-year release cycle and no iPads in Spring)

Q1 (Jan, Feb, Mar)
Nothing

Q2 (Apr, May, Jun
Jun - new MacBooks, new Macs?

Q3 (Jul, Aug, Sep)
Jul - OS X 10.9
Sep - new iPhone, new iPods, iOS 7

Q4 (Oct, Nov, Dec)
Oct - new iPad, new iPad Mini, new Macs?

So no new iOS devices until late Q3 in September? I'm sure Apple could do that but its not like there won't be consequences for not releasing earlier.

EDIT: Like what I've been saying for a long time...iPad is expected to come in March.

That looks pretty reasonable to me.

I'll bet one thing, we will see a new mac pro in Q3 or Q4 with Ivytown and a desktop retina display (probably 4K, 21-24"?)

4K screens were the big deal at CES this year so I feel confident about that.

Were seriously overdue on the software side if things.

Apple need to make this the year of the mac and update all their software

Pages, Numbers, Keynote and possibly an alternative to Access/Database
Aperture 4
Logic 10
iPhoto
Final Cut Pro XI

Retina in all MacBook Pro as standard
MacBook Air updates

The long overdue Mac Pro update / re-design

10.9
IOS7 major overhaul

There is plenty apple can do

Apple TV with app support finally to bring it more in line with Smart TV and google TV hardware going forward.

Possible Apple ITV announcements

Yes yes and yes. Logic Pro isn't even enhanced for retina display yet. There are still major incompatibilities with MS office. iOS needs some major changes (I've been seriously looking at the Nexus 4 because of workflow, stopped because of apps). I agree that the legacy MBPs will be gone.

I bet it's going to be a great year for software. I hope.

FileMaker (database) software is a subsidiary of Apple - so I doubt they'd create another database software package.

An osX release? Does anyone care about osX anymore? The mac os just keeps getting more bloated and convoluted. You can now launch an application 20 different ways--thats progress? Look for ios to similarly stumble through multiple do nothing releases. Love my mbp, but I am so glad I went boot camp and windows. The truth is that for os, the less is more rule applies strongly. Guess Microsoft missed that memo, and now they have another os disaster to clean up.
