Mackie Blackjack and Garageband question
I have a Mackie Blackjack and was trying to record an acoustic instrument with a microphone over some other tracks. The Blackjack has a "To Monitor" knob that I thought was supposed to allow you to increase the volume of the instrument being recorded in the headphone mix so that you can hear yourself play, sing or whatever, but turning the knob seemed to do nothing and the instrument being recorded was completely drowned out by the other tracks when listening back through the headphones and recording.
I was using Garageband and am trying to figure out if I might have something set up incorrectly or if there is something wrong with the Blackjack.
Update: Issue resolved with help of Mackie Technical support.
