How do convert audiobook to MP3
I have brought an audiobook from itunes and it is in the MP4b format,i want to change it to MP3 or WMA to play in my car,when i click on create MP3 version i'm told the format cannot be changed because it is protected,is there any free software out there as i don't warrant buying some for one book or can i still do it in itunes

Old trick in the book is to burn it to a CD using iTunes, delete your local copy, then rip the CD back to the format you want.

I have itunes 11 and can't seem to find away to burn to cd,can you advise me please

Some things to try:
Does this help? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xuUMMWI9T7E Also, you might look into the following apps QTAmateur Cog Vox They may be able to open the mp4 files and then convert them to either mp3 or .aiff format. If all you can get is .aiff, drag the .aiff file into iTunes, and then convert it to mp3. There is also an app out there called "Calibre" (which I don't know much about), but it -might- be able to do such a conversion... |
