Wifi hotspot...

If my iPhone is connected to wifi, and I setup a wifi hotspot, will the hotspot be using cellular data or can it use the wifi, if cellular can I make it use just wifi ( like a signal repeater)? Cheers, Tim

iPhone WiFi Hotspot is from your cellular data.

on us cellular wifi hotspot uses cellular data
