Airplay problems

When I play my music that is downloaded to my iPhone 5 through my receiver using the Airplay function, sometimes the music stops for several seconds and then plays again. Is there something that could be interfering with the connection from my phone to the receiver?

Microwaves
Door bell (wireless)
Crapy wireless router
Other wifi devices
Neighbours devices/wifi.
In other words, loads of things!

Which receiver? How is it connected (WiFi, Wired) to what router?
