It's way over the top... can't wait for a few years from now when all these SSD solutions will be as affordable as RAM today. I remember when a 1MB upgrade to my IBM 486 was a small fortune

We don't know what the pricing is going to be yet. If we go off the new competitive pricing guidelines that micron / crucial are using the price of the 2TB drives would come in at around $1200 - 1600. Now if folks are spending $1300 on 768GB SSD in the new iMac, I don't think the cost of this 2TB is going to be a show stopper. We'll just have to wait and see.
