FSX on 2011 Macbook Pro
I have the 2011 15" Baseline Macbook Pro Anti-Glare Screen. I've upgraded the RAM to 8GB but everything else is standard. I was an avid player of FSX on my Windows machine and I'm considering the possibility to acquiring Windows 7 and run Bootcamp on the Mac.
The old system produces a score of 4447 on Geekbench whereas the Mac gives a score of 9536. I'm obviously aware that the computer is much faster however how well will this translate into actual gaming performance, I'm looking for advice. Before I splash out on Windows 7 would anyone be able to advise me on whether FSX gives reasonable performance on the Mac.
I've watched a few videos on YouTube and they all seem ok but would like some comments on the situation.
