Aperture acting up

Hi,

Since yesterday, when i open up Aperture it says :

Waiting for backup:
Waiting for Time Machine to finish backing up library.

However: Time Machine is not activated AT ALL
And I definitely see gigabytes disappearing from my HDD when i let it happen.

So how do i circumvent this and where is the folder location of the backup so i can delete it?

Nobody? I really need help.
I'm just letting it continue as i hope for it to stop, but it's eating away all my free space and can't seem to find the folder where it's backing it up to...

Argh i just need to quit it because it keeps on eating disk space and i don't have enough. And it also makes my mac lag ...
