All iPads Any news on ION accessories for the Ipad 4 and future Ipad 5?

Im going to wait til the Ipad 5 for my first Ipad and im really interested in the ION piano and guitar, but noticed they are not compatible with the Ipad 4 because of the connector and not having space for an adapter.

And i guess things will get more complicated with the Ipad 5 due it being rumored to be thinner.

Are there any news in that regard?
