Late 2012 iMac crash - can someone read/interpret what happened?

Sent report to Apple, but would like to know if it's serious or if I can expect this to happen regularly. If someone is good at reading these things I'd appreciate it

It's graphics related, but if this does not happen again I would not worry yet.

If you get more like these then contact Apple, but just one does not mean anything.

Were you using Firefox to watch video content when this occurred? If so, and if it happens again, you may wish to consider switching browsers.

Agreed, it's the GPU...If it happens again, or before it does...check activity monitor to see what's running...What were you doing when it crashed?

The process associated with the panic is plugin-container. I believe such a process is spawned by Firefox each time it runs a plugin. Since the panic is clearly GPU-related, I suspect that the OP was playing video content using Firefox when the panic occurred.

Thanks guys, still sounds scary to me that the GPU was involved. Been on a number of Macs since 2007 with heavy daily use and never saw anything like it which is why I was worried.

At the time I was using
Word 2011,
PS CS6 (all the files got recovered which was nice),
Vuze,
Firefox, Chrome, Safari (comparing a site design across them to save you asking),
Strava,
Mixcrate (was streaming music),
some news websites like BBC and Guardian with no video playing on them. Twitter App on the desktop too.

Nothing fancy or stressful to my knowledge. Only other thing that was connected was a La Cie External Drive which is nearly full 960GB/1TB which I've turned off now as it beachballs the iMac occasionally.

Edit: Zopim was up also - maybe the backend is flash based?
