I apologize if this has been asked before, but, I wasn't sure how to 'word' it so I couldn't find any threads. Basically, the issue is the attached image. What you see is a small section of screen that was click drag selected. The only issue is, the cursor was actually down around the top of the lens shown in the desktop picture, i.e., it was an inch or so AWAY from the selected area. Also, trying to clock on an item on the desktop yields the same issue, where the cursor is and where it 'clicks' are two different places.

Furthermore, desktop icons tend to disappear (they move of screen).

Easy fix.. restart. But it's happening fairly regularly. Anyone know the issue? Trying to isolate the problem here. Before I thought it might be parallels but I haven't used parallels in days, so that can't be it here. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks;

John
