New iMac celebrations
I know to some, a new machine isn't a big deal, but for me it definitely is. So much so intact, I'll be having a mini celebration when it arrives. Think ill have a mini feast and a drink.
Anyone got any celebration plans or rituals they're gonna do or have done? I'm curious if its just me! |

Not really...By the time I migrated all my data from the old iMac, and my Pegasus R4...the new one is put straight to work...No drama really.

My 1st ever iMac should arrive tomorrow, snow permitting.
![]() No plans for a celebration though - it's just a computer... |

Yesterday I fired up Crysis in native resolution with all settings on max, and starting playing...holy cow! I've only been using Apple laptops for about 8 years, no desktop computer. Now I realize what I've been missing. All the screen estate is so more practical for my work. Some gaming now and then doesn't hurt either... ![]() So, yeah, I guess I celebrated my new mac with playing Crysis. I know some people here unfortunately have issues with their iMacs. I must say I couldn't be more pleased. What an amazing machine, Apple delivered big time with this one! It's silent, runs reasonably cool, the screen is amazing, the design of the new iMac is fantastic, the CPU and GPU is very powerful. Great stuff.
