Very casual style of commentary. Would take a while to get used to it, but more enjoyable than the stuffy, bile-inducing approach we often get when it comes to ceremony from guys like Alastair Bruce.

What was posted was factually true. The inference was not necessarily true. The count of people at the inauguration might be down because people don't like the President. I don't know. I'm sure in part it is. But I've no doubt it's also down for 50 other reasons. We didn't kill his argument, just provided alternative interpretations that are also plausible and it's probably a mix of them all.

So my facts aren't as good as your facts? His approval rating for his first term is one of the lowest since WWII (Fact) and not as many people showed up this time for the inauguration then last time (Fact). You did not counter anything.

Nice. I saw on HuffPo that he's the first President to use the word gay in an inaugural address. I thought it was a quite powerful speech.

I mean really. This time the crowds extended as far as the cameras could see. Last time the crowds extended beyond what the cameras could see.

Even the approval rating thing. Ford, Carter, Johnson et. al. lived in an era where people got relatively honest news. They didn't have a Fox or Limbaugh or conservative bloggers poisoning the minds of millions of Americans with BS "facts".
