iPhoto Faces Question
Is there a way to delete all the photos of a particular person from Faces and have them removed from my library at the same time? I could only find info on one or the other.
The problem is that my brother got divorced and I don't want any pictures of his bitch ex-wife on my computer anymore and rather than go through all of my albums individually I'd like to just select all the photos in Faces and make them disappear forever. |

Don't know. Give it a try.

Give what a try? It won't let me select all of the photos on her faces page and drag them into the trash. But there's also not an option for deleting a person from the Faces section on any of the menus. You have to use a keyboard shortcut. I was wondering if anyone knew a way that wouldn't involve me going through all of my pictures and individually deleting her.

Sorry. Thought you were asking whether it would work or not.

You may need to do one more more step which would involve adding a Flag or a Title that only those photos have so you can do a search from the Photos heading. I forget what you need to do to get iPhoto to really delete images, but basically you need to put all of those photos into group (easy to do with a Select All in Faces, and putting them into an Album) and/or doing a Batch Edit. I wish I could be more helpful, but I don't have a bunch of iPhoto images I'm willing to risk to deletion. But hopefully this gives you enough to move forward on.

Figured I'd see if anyone knew how to do this. I never did figure it out.
