4S battery getting worse and worse

I can get roughly 2 hours and 30 min of usage in 100% charge. if i am on phone for 30 min..it goes down roughly 20-25% internet it goes down 1% about every minute and getting worse. Also the back of the phone now gets burning hot when i play a game or go online. Should i bring it to an apple store? I mean i use it for 1 hour at a time now and i have 30% left and can't really use it unless it's on a charger...

If under warranty go to an Apple store or call in they will probably replace it easily. If not their are aftermarket repair shops to replace the battery.

is standard warranty only 1 year? Because i am over that

Yes, only 1 year for standard warranty.

First i suggest restoring the phone as new. Secondly, the Apple store techs have battery diagnostic software. They can check it out for you.

I guess, iCloud may be the culprit. Just turn off the iCloud sync and see if it makes any difference.

Apple will replace the battery for $79.

2 choices:

Still under Warranty: take it in to Apple for a free replacement

Not under Warranty: Pay the $99 and get a new Battery replaced by Apple , so you have nothing to worry about.
