I just got an iTunes gift card from Canada (I live in the US) and I was wondering if there was a way I could use it without Apple tracking where I am and shutting down my account. Is there a program I can use to disguise my IP address when I use iTunes?

Change stores (country) in iTunes and it should work, it won't combine with your US balance.

I plan on switching stores and creating a Canadian iTunes Store account, I know how to without a credit card. But I heard that Apple still tracks where your IP is coming from to verify where you're purchasing from.

I've used US cards here in Canada but this was a couple of years ago.

Might be smarter just to sell it on eBay or Craigslist.
