use G4 Leopard as Time Machine for Lion

Will this work?

Use a 1.2GHZ G4 Tower on a network running Leopard 10.5.8 with a External 4TB drive attached via Firewire as a Time Machine. One of the other computers on the network is a i5-Mac Mini running Lion 10.7.5. Will the Mini see the external drive on the G4 (sharing on)?

The newer computers will see and be able to use the G4 as a Time Machine target.
