iPhone preloaded apps

I have an iPhone on PAYG. My credit is being drained by something downloading data. As the iPhone comes pre loaded with a stocks, weather widgets wonder if it could be these. My account with Orange shows that deductions are being made for pre paid sessions. I have turned of the 3G and this seems to work, but now I can,t use 3G without risking these pre paid sessions kicking in. Is there anything I can do, as I can,t delete any pre loaded apps.

Have you tried removing those widgets from NC?

disable notifications and location services on them... they would have no reason to use your data connection then.

Disable carrier data when you dont need to use the internet just to be sure.
When you need it just enable it.
