I use it when traveling, for boarding passes from United. When it's time to baord the plane, the flight info shows up as a notification on the lock screen, and if I swipe it, my boarding passes are right there. Very handy.

Slow data, fewer bars? No, you don't have a bad SIM.

Will want to try using it, haven't touch the app yet. Apple should promote it's usage and encourage more providers to have passes, tickets, coupons and so on.

Its a great concept, I buy movie tickets, and the QR code shows right in there along with a scannable bar code.

But I really do wish it was customizable, since there aren't many apps and everyone uses some really obscure stuff, if I could add it in, then it would make the app 100 times more useful.

Nope. I really wish you could use Passbook without needing the apps—it would be great to use Passbook for flight boarding passes but I don't care to download each airline's iOS app.

Starbucks and boarding passes here, and every so often the Target coupons (though it's rare when one of those coupons are for something I need). I also have my Walgreens card in there, but I haven't actually scanned that yet as typically it's a lot easier to just pull out my key ring and scan the key tag. I've also just recently used it for the first time for a movie ticket purchased through the Fandango app.

I use it at Starbucks.

Would use it a lot more if it had more support.

I used as a trial for Starbucks. Might keep using it for that. Made a custom pass for GameStop and I might use the Target ones more often now that I'm back in a town that has Target.

Would be nice to use it....would love it I'd it could be customized...if I didn't have to download apps and of I have to download apps, it would be nice if more apps were available. Nice idea not thrilled with the execution.

It's useless in the UK if you don't live near a Starbucks, which I don't.

They should do what Keyring does, let you scan your physical card and turn it into a Passbook card!

DUH! Except when Apple does it, it will be revolutionary.

Agreed! People will think Apple invented that.

My dentist sends me appointment reminders that can be added to Passbook. That's all I've used it for.

I used it for my boarding passes when I traveled this past Christmas, worked really good with my United app. I hope more devs utilize more in the future.

Tried it with Starbucks and Target for several months. Just a few days ago I removed it from notification center and moved it to my last home page with all my other unused apps.

Passbook is just another newsstand for the majority of people. Until developers further develop more applications for it, it's pretty much useless here in Toronto.
